Criteria

Special attention should be paid to mechanical defects:

• Cracks, chipping and breakouts
• Scratches, particles and crystal defects
• Inclusions, bubbles and streaks
• Geometry measurement (flatness, apertures, dimensions)

Performance data

Such defects can lead to breakage and thus to failure of entire components. Our inspection systems are able to inspect both polished and coarsely ground glass in various geometries and sizes.
