Cannulas are needed every day in the most diverse variations in immense quantities, as disposable items in medicine and in the laboratory. For reasons of tissue and infection protection, very high demands are placed on their quality, which is why 100% testing is essential.

Intego has developed a unique inspection system for single cannulas, which combines various inspection and measuring tasks with high throughput. The completely force-free guidance of the cannulas ensures that the integrity of the cannulas is guaranteed. In addition, the inspection statistics provide you with valuable starting points for optimizing the manufacturing process.

Criteria

• Complete surface inspection (dirt, burr, coating defects, cracks, etc.)
• Length, diameter and bending
• Cannula point geometry (grinding angles, facet lengths, etc.)
• Cannula lumen free of blockages

Performance data
