Lenses made of glass, plastic or silicone are used in numerous industries such as medical technology, in the automotive sector, for laboratory applications and in optical sensors. Depending on the application of the lenses, it is important that the lens surfaces and volumes are free of defects and particles, that the photometric requirements (e.g. focal length or MTF) are fulfilled and that the geometric dimensions are met.
By using different techniques, Intego offers customized fully automated inspection systems for a 100% quality control of the lenses regarding the desired criteria. The integration of the systems into your production line or the incoming goods inspection enables you to ensure a constant high quality of the lenses.
Due to a flexible design of the hardware and software, Intego's systems are able to measure different lens variants in a single inspection system. The storage of the collected measurement data and defects enables you to fully trace the test results for each individual part. In addition, a statistical real-time evaluation of the collected defect data provides valuable information for the quick detection of problems in the manufacturing process and gives indications for its optimization.
If you require an individual solution, Intego offers free-of-charge feasibility studies based on sample parts. The prepared study will include a system design with draft specifications and a price estimate. Do not hesitate to contact us directly.
